Senior DOMINANCE!!
The Easter dodgeball tournament was the last activity that pits the grades against one another for the year. It was also the last one the seniors will have. In the seniors last dance, they came out on top with another win making their all time record a staggering 7-1. Jack Rhoades was the coach of the amazing team throughout the years, making him the second best coach named Rhoades to come out of Mahanoy. Now that the seniors are moving onto the real world, younger classes can finally get some wins under their belts.

Easter Egg Hunt
Kids in the elementary school were really excited this year for the fun Easter activities at school! They can't wait to do a lot of fun and colorful projects. To make this Easter a really memorable and great Easter, Mrs. Antz class did an Easter egg hunt.
With their high school helpers, they were hunting for Easter eggs outside by the pool doors. They were having so much fun and they were also helping each other find them. Mrs. Antz’s high school helpers Yara Alolaki, Kira Lake, and Yarileisy Peralta were happy and honored that they got to enjoy their last Easter with such a fun and great first grade class! The kids really enjoyed hunting for the colorful eggs!

Over the last several weeks, thousands of people around the country have been participating in the #USCSpeakYourMindIceBucketChallenge. USC brought back these challenges to raise awareness for mental health. While the videos posted online to social media are often of college and high school kids, two kids at heart had to get in on the fun as well!

“Summer is Coming Soon?!”
As summer approaches, the days grow long,
With sunshine and laughter, the world sings a song.
The flowers are blooming, colors burst bright,
Nature awakens, a beautiful sight.
Warm breezes are dancing, the sun’s golden glow,
Inviting us outside, where adventures can flow.
From picnics in parks to nights by the shore,
Summer brings magic, opening doors.
So let's embrace the warmth, the joy it imparts,
With memories to cherish, and love in our hearts.
As summer arrives, let our spirits take flight,
In the season of sunshine, everything feels right.
